Cairns Kangarooms Student Accommodation

Can merely express my gratitude for these guys. I've been living here the past few months and they have just been the perfect people to deal with. The people in my house were amazing. House was amazing, super modern and so to easy to keep clean! Don't have a single bad word about this place and I'll definitely be back some day 💙💙💙💙💙

Would 100% recommend for anyone for a short stay and long-term. Lisa and Melanie made my stay easy and pleasant. Clean accommodation, great location , friendly people and safe environment. I liked the simplicity and clarity in paper work, staff is working extra mile to meet needs and expectations of every tenant, while respecting the rights and concerns of others. Lisa and Melanie making sure to made your stay enjoyable by bring nice family feel.

Great location, great people and super accommodating for all types of visitors! Due to covid and the small rental market, I looked into student housing and found Kangarooms. Melanie and Lisa made my stay so easy while looking for permanent accommodation. They were really understanding of my situation and were genuinely interested in helping me as much as they can! Everyone staying there was so welcoming and made it so easy to settle into a new city. Would 100% recommend to anyone from placement students to long-term tenants!

This is an amazing share house with an incredible vibe. Whatever the help do you need there is someone can give you a hand!!! I spent a full month and I’ll miss every single one there. I wish all the best and keep it up guys!

Stayed here for a few months and can truly say that this place is fantastic to live. Easy walking distance to the shopping centre and Esplanade. Bed comfortable and rooms have a fan & AC. The communal lounge rooms are comfy to hang out in and have a chat. A real community has been developed here and the long term residents are very welcoming to new people! Thx Mel and Lisa

Kangarooms is a perfect for students. The management are very helpful and knowledges. The premises is incredibly clean and functional. Rooms feature AirCon. Location is great and facilities are modern. Highly recommend to anyone looking for accomodation in Cairns to go to Kangarooms.

Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, spacious lounge area and fully equipped kitchen, upstairs room I was in remained well aired, if a bit humid if you had the blind down at night, rooms on the inner circle could be a bit noisy at night or from 7 in the morning, internet worked well, all other utilities were modern and efficient, will stay again if need be.

Lovely family oriented business with great people and nice clean rooms close to the middle of Cairns.

CK is a place where you have your independence and the community when you needed. Melanie and Lisa are just amazing and supportive all the time. It's clean, neat, and beautiful. Couldn't expect more!! Also, it is the most sustainable place I have ever come across, if you are one of those people, this is the place you should live sustainably without guilt.

You can't describe how amazing and nice the owners of the Cairns Kangarooms​​ are. On top of that, the facility is clean, tidy, and modern. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for students accommodation.

Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. They look after residents very well and if you need any help they are always there for you. I was so lucky to stay here especially covid pandemic time.I felt secure. The private room is good for studying and dining room is good for socialised. I also enjoyed to meet people from different countries. I can say you cannot find such a nice place in the city except here! Thank you for having me!

Awesome, friendly staff and residents at Kangarooms. I have had a few short term stays here now and have enjoyed the balance of welcoming community and also privacy. I would certainly recommend Cairns Kangarooms to any students looking for short or long term accommodation.

I stayed at Cairns Kangarooms for a month. The room, amenities and kitchen were perfect!! Always cleaned and maintained. Melanie, Lisa and all the team were very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay there again when I’m in Cairns for future studying!!

Such a great home away from home. The rooms are a great size, air conditioned, large desk and much more. Common areas (bathroom, kitchen and lounge) are kept clean. Decent amount of space in the fridge (whole shelf to yourself). Staff are friendly and welcoming. Would recommend Cairns Kangarooms to UNI students who have to travel for assessment/ placement
